She begins the book with a very thorough definition of what Keto is. She explains each part of the diet - what's high fat, moderate protein, low carbs, and macronutrients. She explains what is a good fat and a bad fat and why. She gives a good list of foods to eat and those not to eat and what your pantry essentials and everyday foods should be. She moves into detailed 2-week menu plans that are easy to put into practice.

The rest of the book is delineated into chapters according to food - beverages and smoothies, dairy and nuts, eggs and breakfast, soups and salads, fish, chicken, pork, beef, sides, snacks, dressings, sauces, and seasonings, and, finally, sweets. There are 200 everyday recipes that make the transition into the Keto diet simple. Plus, she has a huge list of resources and helps at the end of the book.

If you are looking to live the Keto lifestyle, this should be your starting point. If you had to get one book to get you started, this is the one.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Not all keto cookbooks are created equal. This one is okay, but I think that I need something stricter to begin with.

There were a lot of good recipes that were convenient and a lot they aren't. Can't wait to try the ones that are.
